Salted Bay Systems collects only the details needed to review website inquiries, respond to potential customers, and provide requested services.
What we collect
When you submit the quote form, we collect your name, business name, email address, optional phone number, project preferences, and the information you include in your message.
How we use it
We use inquiry information to review your project, contact you, prepare recommendations or estimates, and maintain a record of the conversation. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers
Website hosting, protected database storage, and transactional email providers process information only as needed to operate the quote-request workflow.
Retention
Unconverted quote requests are retained for up to 12 months and are then deleted through the website’s retention process. If an inquiry becomes an active client relationship, related business records may be kept longer when reasonably needed for service, accounting, legal, or recordkeeping purposes.
Security and tracking
We use encrypted connections, server-side validation, access controls, rate limits, and protected credentials. No online system can guarantee absolute security. This site does not currently use advertising trackers.
Your choices
To ask what inquiry information we have about you, request a correction, or request deletion when legally and operationally appropriate, email hello@saltedbaysystems.com .
